How we grow at BlumenHaus.

Humidity, temperature, CO₂, the extractor and the fans are managed from the same panel. Instead of checking each device separately, we see the whole grow room on a single screen.

Each parameter follows its own 24-hour curve, with key points through the day. Between day and night the climate changes in short ramps, not all at once, and each curve is adjusted on its own.

Devices work on triggers: if humidity rises above the chosen value, the dehumidifier switches on, and when it is back in range it switches off. Nobody has to notice it or turn it on by hand.

The sensors save a reading every 5 minutes, so we can see what happened overnight. We make each adjustment one at a time and note it in a log, to know which change produced which effect.

The panel works over the internet: it opens from a phone or a computer. We can check the grow room and adjust values without being inside.

A humidifier raises the humidity when needed and a dehumidifier lowers it when it goes over. Both switch on and off by themselves, based on what the sensors measure.

We use a Delveon Industrial JDH-06, rated at 6 litres per hour. It is ultrasonic: it produces a fine, cool mist without heating the air.

We use a Delveon dehumidifier rated at 138 litres per day, built for industrial use. It removes the excess water from the air when humidity goes above the chosen value.

Both machines are connected to the TrolMaster system: to a DSH-1 humidity station or to the OM-8 dry contact board, depending on the room. They are managed from the same panel as the rest of the grow room.

Stable humidity looks after the plants and helps prevent fungus and mould. With automatic control the room corrects itself, and every change is recorded in the panel.

It renews the air in the room by removing hot, humid air. It works automatically, commanded by the TrolMaster system (a DSP-1 power station or the OM-8 board, depending on the room).

10-inch fans move the air between the panels and the plant canopy, and also at table height. This way the air circulates evenly, with no still areas where humidity builds up.

A Surrey Smart Inverter unit keeps the temperature steady. Being an inverter, it adjusts its power instead of switching on and off, which avoids sharp temperature swings.

The TrolMaster panel (Hydro-X or Hydro-X PRO, depending on the room) shows temperature, humidity and CO₂, and the extractor and fans are commanded from there. This lets us see how a change in one device affects the other values.

Plants take CO₂ from the air and, with light, turn it into the sugars they use to grow. With good light and a well-controlled environment, extra CO₂ can be put to use.

The CO₂ comes from a gas cylinder through a 220 V solenoid valve that opens and closes by itself. The TrolMaster system commands it, with a DSD-1 dry contact station or the OM-8 board, depending on the room.

We supplement it at the end of the vegetative stage and during flowering. For the rest of the cycle none is added.

The panel measures the CO₂ in the room along with temperature and humidity, and stores the readings. This lets us check that the supply is what we expect.

We use Nanolux LED fixtures: ZN models of 720 W and SN PRO models of 1000 W, depending on the room.

LED fixtures give off less heat than traditional sodium lamps, which makes it easier to keep the temperature steady.

The panels are spread over the crop so that the light reaches all the plants evenly.

Light defines the room's day and night, and the climate follows that rhythm: the controller adjusts temperature, humidity and air with one curve for the day and another for the night.

The High Times Cannabis Cup is a cannabis competition organized by High Times magazine, with editions in different countries. In 2026 it held an edition in Argentina.

Live rosin is a cannabis extract made without chemical solvents. It starts from freshly harvested, frozen flower and is worked with water, cold, heat and pressure. It is valued for keeping much of the plant's aroma.

We entered a Persian Pear sample in the extracts category and it took second place.
